Cherry Grove Beach
Our hosts Sophie and Martin have a clean and well maintained 3rd level Condo. The view is spectacular from this beautiful point on the coast. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from and our hosts were available to answer and questions we had. Everything we needed was available in the condo. Thank you Sophie and Martin! It was a very relaxing vacation.

Indeed the condo is just close enough to everything you may need while on vacation but just far enough that you can really relax and enjoy the quietness of Cherry Grove beach!

Everything we needed!
We decided to make a long weekend in SC after driving to Columbia from VA for a doctor’s appointment. I’m so glad one of my friends suggested Cherry Grove, and even more glad that I found this apartment. I look carefully at VRBO photos and noticed that there was a stressless chair in the living area of the apartment. As I just had a hip surgery, this was huge- about the only chair I can sit in. All the other photos looked wonderful so we booked it immediately. This is a 3-story bldg situated at the end of the beach with an inlet curving toward the intracoastal waterway just beyond the beach end. I trudged up the stairs slowly, wondering if I’d chosen well- arriving~5pm on a rainy day, all was gray, and all looked old. But no! It was perfect w/a fully equipped, even w/spices and oils. Hardwood floors! No yucky carpets! All is CLEAN! Pillows good but mattress a little soft( mattresses are hard to review as everyone has different preferences!) The balcony is small, but exactly right for a tall table with 4seats. I enjoyed drinking coffee and reading out there in the morning, watching folks walk their dogs in the early morning. The sun rose 45° to the balcony &shimmers on the water coming into the inlet. Being there mid April, the beach was uncrowded, flat & wide! Walking is great on this sand. We were close to eateries, groceries &shops. Hoskins is an amazing diner! WE WOULD STAY AGAIN! Esp w/ 2or 3 of our grandchildren in the 2nd BR! We felt safe and relaxed here!!!

Thank you Theresa for the review we are happy you felt comfortable and safe in our little piece of paradise. Climbing up to the third floor is indeed a good exercise but the view is definitely the best reward you can get. Although there’s a bit more people on the beach in Summer this area never gets crowded as it is mostly small buildings. It’s really the quietest spot in Cherry Grove with a scenery constantly evolving with the tides. You should visit in the fall, it’s the best time of the year with the ocean still very warm, temperatures being a bit cooler and almost for yourself!!

Great Location
Awesome access to beach and pool. The family came to this location for the second time and loved this property. Everything you need for a nice beach retreat with the family. The view from the balcony was awesome, we could see and hear the ocean all day long as well as some nice sunrises. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Anniversary Weekend
My wife and I were celebrating our 25th and I wanted to surprise her with a lovely beachfront condo at Cherry Grove. This was the perfect place. Great location, the unit was spotlessly clean, and the view from the balcony left us both speechless. It was truly just amazing. Sophie was a great hostess and was easy to communicate with. She even arranged a dozen red roses to be in the room upon our arrival. We are definitely going to be going back again. Thank you, Sophie!

We LOVED this condo! Sophie was always quick response and very helpful. The place was amazing view and sooooo close to the beach. We really like the taste of decors of the condo as well. It's very clean and there were most of stuff there what we needed while we stayed there. We will definitely come back here when we come in North Mytle beach. Our family had a wonderful time staying at your home in Cherry Grove! The unit was beautiful and just as depicted from pictures. Can’t beat this VIEW!!
We booked 3-4 weeks prior to our stay for family health issues, but it worked out wonderfully! Sophie was right on spot with any questions or concerns we had. The location was fabulous! Most mornings and evenings on the deck were spent reading, eating and enjoying the fantastic view! The condo and area was super quiet and we believe this is the BEST spot at Cherry Grove. The condo was clean, had toilet paper and soap upon arrival which can be rare in other places. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable. Showers coming from the beach were nice to get the sand off and the pool was clean. We will be sure to book with Sophie again if we come to the Cherry Grove area again!

Best view on the beach
Sophie promptly answered any questions we had. The unit is is nice and comfortable with the best ocean views!! The kitchen and bathrooms have everything you need, just bring your groceries and you’re set!! We absolutely loved our stay even though it rained the first day, we just opened the drapes and blinds and could relax and watch the ocean. Thank you!!

Incredible view and very clean unit
I was very happy to walk in and see a very clean unit! The owners were excellent with communication throughout stay. The views can’t be beat, nice balcony to sit and drink your coffee. Good space for a family of four.

This property was everything it said it was. It was very clean and stocked well. We brought our own sheets, pillows and towels which I always prefer to do anyway. The beach was so close and there were so few people that it made it seem more remote which we prefer. Great place and the Sophie was quick to answer questions.

Beautiful view, clean, and comfortable!
The views and the beach where just lovely. We had a bit of an issue with the air, but Sophie was quick to respond. We were there right after hurricane Ian so things happen, but it did not ruin our stay. I would suggest adding floor fans to the utility closest just incase folks need them in the bedrooms. There is only one fan in the unit and it is in the kitchen. Overall this was a great place. I didn’t realize there was no elevator. If you are like me and you have had 3 knee surgeries this might be something you pay attention as well. That is not the fault of the owners…it was my oversight. All-in-all, we had a nice relaxing stay.

I'll definitely be staying here again. Sophie and Martin were wonderful to deal with and helped us through the process of evacuating before Hurricane Ian hit. Our trip was shortened, but they were fair and understanding under the circumstances and were focused on our safety. Thank you, Sophie and Martin!

My husband kids and I spent a wonderful week at the French Quarters. We stayed there a few years ago and have been dreaming of returning. It’s location is perfect for people who enjoy a less crowded part of the beach. Low tide leaves multiple tide pools on the beach. They’re great for kids to play in and look for shells and spot some wildlife like crabs, hermit crabs and minnows. The owners of the property, Sophie and Martin, have beach chairs, sand toys and pool noodles that they allow guests to use. The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware, glasses, plates utensils even crab/nutcrackers. We opted for the linen package which was great because the beds were made and there were plenty of bath towels. We just had to bring beach towels. We utilized the laundry facility. I brought our own detergent but there was some in the condo too. Bring quarters for the machines if you want to use them. We really had a fabulous stay and Sophie is always very quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend staying here. I hope we’ll be back for a visit soon.

Perfect Family Getaway Location!
Everything about the property was perfect for our family. The biggest plus about this property is the location. It's at the very end of N Myrtle Beach with incredible views and is less crowded than the south end. The sunrises were incredible to watch from the balcony. The kids enjoyed the bunk bed setup and we loved the ocean views from the main bedroom. We will definitely be staying here again!

People are sometimes hesitant to book in November because of the weather but it is still very pleasant and very comfortable most of the years.

Wonderful location
This location was wonderful. Sophie was a super host!. Met all our expectations and more. The kitchen 2 bedroom 2 bath had everything you needed. It was just like a home away from home. I can’t praise this condo and location enough. Condo is super accommodating and nicely updated. The owners that were onsite were very helpful. Restaurants we recommend are Basils, Babakas, Hurricane Colinz, and Snookies. We will definitely be coming back.

Perfect condo at a perfect location
We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait for the opportunity to return to this perfect condo. Absolutely love the views. Owners are very easy to work with and works to make their guest feel extra comfortable, even providing nice shampoo and soap.

Perfect Location
This is the best part of the beach we’ve ever stayed on and I’ve been coming to Cherry Grove for the past thirty years. The location was also just beautiful! I think for anyone with kids, this a place you should check out. I think the only warning should be is that if anyone in your party has trouble with stairs, because to get to and from the beach/pool/parking lot you need to climb up and down three flights of stairs. The apartment itself was beautiful! We couldn’t have asked for a better view or better accommodations! It was also so quiet! Honestly, if you can handle stairs… you shouldn’t look anywhere else. The owners were also quick to reply to any message or question and were always incredible kind! (Just to mention for parents: the owners have done an incredible job safe proofing the doors to make sure little ones can’t wonder out any door… for us this was a huge plus with the sliding glass doors and the door out of the apartment.)
