"Wow!! Where do I start. My family had the best 3 days, days and nights of peace and tranquility, plus so much to do.David and Lizette open their farm to you. There are chickens to feed , eggs to collect and sheep to feed. So much for city kids to have a glimpse of country life.Night times are perfect with the outside fire burning and toasting marshmallows or there are lots of board games to play.York is 6 minutes away so plenty of opportunity to learn about the history of the town and a local IGA to pick up forgotten items.A great way to spend 3 days only 90 minutes from Perth."
"Everything was as expected. The only criticism is that the shower did switch from bath to shower very well and didn’t have full pressure because of it. "
"I stayed with my 10 and 13 year old kids. The cottage was exactly what I was hoping for. The kids loved feeding the farm animals, we saw beautiful birds and a shingle back came to visit; view was beautiful and it’s close to town. "
"The property was great! Comfortable and clean. The only down side was the map to get there was inaccurate. After a long travel day to get there this was very frustrating. Also lack of light bulbs working was also average. Range hood, lamps,and some ceiling light, either missing or not working. Overall though we had a great time and would stay again."
After visiting Tooday Visitors Center, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Toodyay. Wander the gardens or discover the area's countryside.
