Location, big room , no parking was a pain

Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable beds. Nice food. Pool and spa exceptional. Outdoor pool and grounds lovely

Beautiful building but undergoing renovation on the outside. Difficult to figure out how to get to hotel parking as it is a restricted street and the bollards may be up preventing you from entering. The hotel said they would automatically go down when you approach. We ended up parking at a garage about a 5 min walk from the hotel which worked well for us and actually cost less than the hotel parking. Bathrooms were nicely modern but the room itself felt sparse and not updated, perhaps in keeping with the original style. Windows cannot be open to let air in so at times the room smelled musty. Staff were extremely nice and the cafe in the courtyard was a nice escape from the bustle outside. Well located.
