"The property was very dirty, the room was not ready for me to check in, the manager claimed the payment I made to cover my stay had not been reflected in their account.
The room shown to me was very dirty and no air conditioning in the room, the bed covers or sheets were dirty and stinking. The hotel does not resemble what was advertised in Expedia web site. I DID NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL DUE TO ALL OF THE ABOVE."

"The staff are very helpful. We need to change money and also find a pharmacy on a Sunday, and they were able to drive us to a place for both these purposes. The food is very good, and the pastries are amazing. Thank you, Boulevard Palace."
"I chose Afrilodge because it looked like it would be close to the sights I wanted to see on the map. It was perfect. I was able to walk literally everywhere. It is located on a main street and easy to reach Providence island, the museum, churches, and monuments in about 10 minutes walking in most cases. The staff were all very friendly and kind, and helped me whenever I had questions. The only thing that could be improved is the food. The restaurant doesn't serve African food, ironic from a place called Afrilodge, and it left a lot to be desired especially for the price. But, if I ever came back I would stay here again. Spacious, clean room, with a desk and chair as well as an arm chair and a smart TV. Really well-appointed for an affordable price. Thanks!"
"Staying at Miss Emily's Place is like staying at a friend's house. The owner, Annette, is charming and ever so helpful. In fact, she goes out of her way to make your stay in her city enjoyable. Her staff is very helpful too. The property is close to transport and a couple of local bars. My room was comfortable and clean and it had air conditioning. I really enjoyed my stay with Annette and Miss Emily's Place. In fact, a traveller I met weeks later had stayed there too. A great find. "
