There was constant flooding in the hall between our wing to the main hall due to rolling thunderstorms. The gorge hike is disappointing - it’s only 0.68 miles because a stair bridge is broken so the guide stalls with nature talks because if you were to actually hike it, it would take less than 20 minutes to reach the broken stair bridge. The experiences such as axe throwing and zip line are over priced / not worth it. The archery was fun as they have animal targets. Bingo is fun and you can win prizes. The pool is nice but rolling thunderstorms limit your access in the afternoon (we went in August). We had connecting rooms and they were decent.

This is a wonderful Bed & Breakfast that truly made us feel at home away from home. The house we stayed in had three rooms and a shared kitchen, which was fully equipped with everything we needed—including great coffee!
The location is excellent, right next to downtown Blacksburg, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Virginia Tech’s campus is also very close, and we enjoyed walking to both.
My wife and I would highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Blacksburg or Virginia Tech University. It has a much warmer, more welcoming, and more personal feel than staying at a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay!
