"The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna."

"We had a great time in this special house in the mountains. The host was very helpfull and the house had everything we hoped. One small Point was the size of the pool. It was good for cooling doen but too small for swimming."

"The views from this property are absolutely breathtaking! While the property is not near any major sights, it is peaceful and beautiful. Fernanda was very responsive to my questions and her husband assisted us in guiding us around the area to point out places to eat and shop with. Alessandro (the owner) was wonderful - charming and helpful but also discreet, coming early in the morning to clean the pool each day without disturbing his slumbering guests! When we arrived there was an issue with the wi-fi but Alessandro sorted it out and came back the next morning with a brand new router. Meryl is a great host and was always very responsive to any questions that we had during our one month stay. The Villa is amazing and the pictures posted do not convey how nice and comfortable the Villa is. The Villa sits near the top of a Tuscan hill (mountain) with spectacular views of the surrounding valley. "Great stay by nine adults. Bedrooms and bathrooms are large and well appointed. Living area is also large with many chairs and sofas. Dining table is oval and can seat a large number of people. Kitchen functional and large enough. Grounds are impressive- pool is beautiful albeit not heated. Plenty of outdoor eating areas, all lovely. Outdoor grill is usable but far from house. Neighbor with dog and cats is friendly but cats are too, a problem for our cat allergic member. Driveway is long and...

"We stayed in the Garden unit for 9 days in mid July. The property is beautiful and Alessandro and his family are wonderful people and great hosts. They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. The only issue we had was the heat. Unfortunately there were heat warnings throughout this part of Europe in July and the property is not set up yet to deal with...
