“Communication from our (very friendly and endlessly helpful) hosts was absolutely faultless via email initially, and then via WhatsApp. This all helped inspire confidence before we arrived. The apartment (villa) location overlooking the valley is amazing, and the property is easily found only just off the main road through the town. There’s a small supermarket within a short walking distance - and a bigger one a five minute drive away in the next town. Our hosts recommended an excellent……

“Amazing accommodation. D’Autor village is a beautiful property composed of several small villas, with a great pool that overlooks the valley. Please is spotless, with great hospitality and very nice staff that is always there to help and answer any questions you may have. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Property is located in the Vinho verde region so expect some travelling if you’d like to visit the Douro valley.”

“Parking lot is only a bared ground, creeps ask for money when we drove in. The room is big with a kitchen, good for a family travel. I phoned the reception for the wifi password and she ask me to go down and get it diretly. When I returned to my room, the wifi didn't work and I called the receptio again, that is when they told me the Wifi ONLY works in the lobby. You have to ask for a hair drier at the reception and they ask you to return it right after you use it. Someone knocked few times on……
