"We had a fabulous stay at Tim and Maria's place in Pinos del Valle. The location was perfect for us - offering a mix of Sierra Nevada wilderness, a good selection of beaches and some super city culture up in Granada - all within a half hour drive. The accommodation was great; basic but it had everything we needed. Maria helped us toddler-proof the main floor by rearranging some furniture when we arrived and there was loads of space downstairs for bikes etc. Having balconies on all sides ensures...

"Absolutely amazing villa...the photo's don't do it justice! Highly recommend having a car as it is in a remote location and public transport not much of an option. Sue, the manager was fantastic...really good communication both prior to our stay and during. We also booked her for a private tapas night which was lovely - great food in the best setting! The stay was enhanced by the cats and dogs that usually decided to come by and say hi. Inside the house is a advertised, proper beds and a well equipped kitchen that covered all our needs. "

"We stayed for four days in this lovely house and enjoyed every minute. It is difficult to find, but worth every effort in doing so. Good house, great garden (excellent for dogs), beautiful swimming pool and a lot of privacy in this house surrounded by palm nurseries. The nice beach of Torrenueva is close by (5 car-min.) and the trip to Granada / The Alhambra is around 30 car-min."

"Dominoc and Krista are the owners of this beautiful home up in the valley of Valle de Los Pinos.....30minute drive to Granada. The scenery if beatiful, you most croos over a dam and lake to get to this city. Its lovely drive up...the home is very clean, nice and welcoming. Has 3 or four levels....our room was located on 2nd floor...then therw is a small terrace on 3rd....and full terrace balcony on 4th. Also has jacuzzi on main floor patio. Breakfast was great and plantiful. The host are great and very willing to give out information around points of intrest. My wife and I are from Costa Rica and live in Houston. Highly recommend this great place!"

"All the employees were very friendly, even the cleaning staff! The walls are thin so you will hear your neighbours but the amenities are beautiful. I highly recommend choosing the “all-inclusive” option for meals. The buffets were first rate and had everything labelled carefully if you have food sensitivities (like gluten intolerance or a severe nut allergy). "

"We stayed for 5 nights on half board for a walking holiday. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and, in particular, the swimming pool in the early evening. The reception staff were highly professional and the restaurant staff were friendly. The evening menu only changes once a week which meant some repetition in our actual selections of food."

"Really lovely place to stay, from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, checking in late was no problem as they have 24 hour reception. The room was clean and well equipped. The shower was great. Air con worked perfectly. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The pool wasn't busy (stayed late May) and the grounds were varied and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again."

"This property was a wonderful surprise. The hotel itself is clean and very comfortable. No running out of hot water when showering. The location is beautiful. It is in a valley that is known for their oranges which feature in the hotel’s restaurant. The food at the restaurant highlights local specialities. Amazing food. Finally, the staff are very helpful and nice. I would not hesitate to return."
