"We were family of 16. We enjoyed our stay at The Fox House. Family was accommodated very well in this home. Enjoyed having Chef dinner at the Fox House one evening. The grounds are so very beautiful and well cared for including pool area. Our only regret that the weather was poor cold and 3x average rain which did spoil enjoying the outdoors during most of our stay. The grandkids did polar plung and made the most of it."

A lovely ten-minute walk into town, you cross another bridge that offers a spectacular view the river. "Solar da Capela is very clean hospitable family hotel. They went out of their way to assist. We came to Sao Padro de Sul mainly for Thermal pools. We went to many places where we enjoyed thermal pools for a whole day, but this place only allow one hour at high price. This kills small hotel business. "The apartment is very nice, very comfortable, and larger than it appears to be from the pictures. The internet was very fast, excellent for streaming movies. The water pressure was excellent, and the hot water is supplied by an instant gas heater, so no problems with that. There is no dishwasher, but that was not a problem. The beds are comfortable. The apartment was quiet--we almost never heard our neighbors. And the LOCATION is FANTASTIC! Right on the Praça, in Old Town--it was so beautiful....

A lovely stay above the clouds
"Victor went above and beyond as our host. Before even checking into the house, he helped set up transportation, rental cars, and a restaurant reservation recommended by him. His house was absolutely beautiful, and he greeted us upon our arrival to show us around the property. Thanks to him, we also had a unique lunch experience at this tavern on our first full day in town. Would reccomend to anyone!"
