The Sun Room at The "COTTAGE"

The space: This is unique, Sunny space, it seems like a garden when you enter the property, very quaint and relaxing. The Sun Room is special to me, It has been the quiet prayer room many times for a get away. You have a small size refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot for a cup of brew, small desk to work on and a HDTV & Wi Fi. You have the use of all the common areas in my home, There is a large kitchen with double ovens, microwave, 6 burner stove, dishwasher and all the small appliances, There are so many dishes and pots and pans to use to cook up a storm. Enjoy it. There is many places to sit and enjoy what you have cooked. Like a small table in kitchen, a snack bar and dining table in the dining room. In the living room you will find comfortable furniture to relax and watch the Big Screen 75" TV. You have the use of the laundry facilities with laundry soap provided with a guest label on the shelf above appliances, just a short step away. There are many places to just relax on the property. There is a Gazebo with outdoor furniture to just sit and read a book, or on the upper patio is another sitting area. Out in the back by the garden area is another resting area, and of course there is the sun porch right by your door with chairs and tables to eat your lunch or dinner on after you have barbecued on the barbecue. Just enjoy my home while your hear. This is a great space to enjoy your home away from home. Plenty of off street parking.

Rosie’s place is wonderful. Rosie is so nice and very inviting. I was sick the majority of the time I was there so didn’t get around like I wanted. I would definitely recommend and I’d stay again if I ever needed to.

Small but tidy

Can’t beat the price. I was visiting a relative who did not have room for a sleep in guest but it was a five minute walk to go back and forth and felt like a very safe neightborhood.

Home Away from Home

This sunroom was perfect for my two week trip to Vancouver. It was in a quite neighborhood near the places I needed to frequent. I really enjoyed the outdoor patios and other areas in the yard during this stay. I appreciated being able to use the kitchen and dishes and laundry facilities as I needed. I had plenty of room to store my food in the refrigerator and freezer. I appreciated visiting with the other residents staying there as well. Thank you!

Adorable for One.

This was a cute little room, nicely decorated, warm & cozy bed. I did not realize the bathroom was in the main house. I wouldn’t book this room again for that reason. I would book another room there. Unfortunately, the WiFi & cable were out. Host was welcoming.

The listing specifically said that I would have the whole house to myself. And that only I would be staying there. It turned out that there were at least 3 other people living there. That is fine and all but I would never have rented it if that was specified. Nice people and all.

The yard and house look very cluddered my sunroof door only locked from the inside. It was just like staying in camp ground but with wifi. U have to use the restroom and shower in the house if u need to go. But everything was OK. It was not a bad experience I'd stay again

Welcoming Host, cozy room.

The room was cozy and decorated in a cottage style. There is a small fridge and microwave, as well as dishes in the room. There is no sink in the room and the bathroom is in a separate space. However, the price makes up for this. Rosie was gracious and helpful. I also appreciated that the bed linens had been washed with unscented soap. That makes a big difference for me.

Friendly & Welcoming Host- Close to Everything in Vancouver

Rosie is an excellent host - from a comfortable bed, space for your travel items, a small fridge & microwave, cable television, and internet (great to have a desk to work on), plus use of the main house if you want to use the kitchen, laundry room, and living/dining spaces - Rosie happily provides it all (especially liked the cofee pods!). I appreciated having a parking space on the property rather than the street. As I was planning a move and wanted to get to know the Vancouver area better, this stay was ideal. An excellent location to venture out from - whether for sightseeing or shopping for essentials. And Portland is just a short drive (and a bridge) away.

Rosie is the most kind

My stay here with Rosie and company had me feeling like I was a part of the family. Everyone is so nice! There is ample space to park, exercise, and enjoy the backyard. I enjoyed sitting out on the back deck and sipping coffee or taking a stroll around the nearby neighborhood. The bathroom for this space is shared, and it is located inside the home. There is a stand-up shower and toilet in a water closet, and the sink is located around the corner, in front of another VRBO room. There is half of a fridge and a third of a medicine cabinet available, as well as 2 drawers next to the sink. I also had a cabinet to store food! The room is quite small and cozy, and is perfect for someone coming and going. I was here for 3 months. Rosie and the long-term guests that stay here are so warm and welcoming. I hope to see them again, and stay in The Bungalow this time!
