Ótima estadia

Gostamos muito da nossa estadia. Fomos super bem atendidos pelo Roger e pela Rita. O café da manhã consistia em pães, geléias, suco de frutas, café e leite. Ficamos no terceiro andar. O único problema que vimos é que não há elevador, para subir com as malas fica um pouco ruim. De resto, tudo excelente!

Pragtfuldt sted

Jeg havde en rigtig god oplevelse med Álvares Cabral guesthouse. Værterne på stedet er utroligt serviceminded og imødekommende. Servicen var bare i top og stedet er bestemt også dejligt. Stedet har personlighed og udstråler hjemlighed, det lille loungeområde er et godt sted at sidde og nyde en kold øl, som kan købes på stedet. Derudover, har de en dejlig lille have,med mange siddepladser, som egner sig godt til at nyde en god bog. En stor bonus ved stedet er at da det ligger lidt ude fra centrum slipper man for så meget støj og er sikret en god nattesøvn. Klart anbefalesesværdig og forventer selv at komme igen.

An absolute gem!

After two nights at the Hotel Moov, lodgings that were enjoyable yet a thoroughly different experience, I felt more relaxed and at home moving to the Alvarez Cabral. Roomy with high ceilings often found in older houses with a view over the garden space. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and pleasant. The place sits above the bustling city center yet is an easy walk down toward the river. A big benefit to be adjacent to the bus stop where one may take a bus to the Matosinhos beach adjacent to many of Porto's finer seafood restaurants. Can't beat freshly caught fish grilled over wood coals. Looking forward to more stays with the good people at Alaves Cabral Guesthouse.

A pousada é num local calmo apesar de passar carros em frente. Tudo muito limpo, os funcionários atenciosos e cuidadosos com tudo. O café que é servido no jardim é uma delicadeza, com pães saborosos e geleias da casa fantásticas.. simples, mas com tudo que para mim é um banquete. Está a poucas quadras do metrô e mesmo assim.fizemos quase tudo a pé, só pegamos Uber qd precisamos voltar mais tarde e cansados. Recomendo essa pousada.

O hotel é bem limpo, aconchegante, mas o banheiro é um ponto fraco, pois é apertado e necessita melhorias. Como é um local antigo, não tem tratamento acústico e conseguimos ouvir tudo que a pessoa no quarto ao lado fala, e quando alguém anda pelos quartos, parece que está andando no nosso quarto. Os funcionários são ótimos e prestativos, tentam resolver de imediato os contratempos

We were welcomed by Raoul and kindly advised on what to do and where to go. Very helpful. Standard room bed very comfy clean plenty of towels. Breakfast was served in back garden - basic continental but plenty of it. All good

Le personnel est très à l' écoute et soucieux de nous faire passer un bon séjour ( respect de la chambre au calme, recommandation de visites,prêt de parapluie,......) On s' y sent presque que comme à la maison. Bien situé pour visiter Porto à pied. Un bon séjour.

Excelente atendimento mas precisa de reformas

Apesar do excelente atendimento, as instalações já estão precisando de reforma. Nos banheiros principalmente. Não tem elevador nem ar condicionado. Fiquei no último andar, e eas escadas são muito longas. O café fica no subsolo e só tem uma pessoa servindo.

Vynucený doplatek 20 Euro

Po příjezdu jsme dostali pokoj, kde byla korková stěna natřená nějakým přípravkem, který silně čpěl a nebylo reálné, že bychom tam vydrželi. Recepční byl ochotný, ale neústupný a za náhradní pokoj jsme si museli připlatit 20 Euro (měl vlastní koupelnu místo sdílené). Takže problém hotelu zaplatil zákazník. Koupelna, kterou jsme tahle získali byla ve špatném stavu - standard osmdesátých let s plesnivou sprchou.

Perfect for a tourist's cheap stay in Porto

Very professional lobby staff, spoke perfect english which is not so usual in Portugal in my experience. The hotel area is a bit far from the city centre and the train station both, but it's just an Uber or 15 minutes of walking away. The room was very nice for its price, full of commodities and neatly furnished. There were a few slamming noises every now and then during the night and morning, they made the bedside wall shake slightly and i'm not sure what was causing them but i slept very well nonetheless.

Hospedados num pedaço da historia do Porto

A hospedagem ocorreu dentro do esperado. O predio antigo esta em boas condições, mantendo seu aspecto histórico, mas com visão de conforto. A distância até a area central do Porto fica a uma caminhada de cerca de 20 minutos e passa por prédios azulejados e igrejas históricas. Ao redor, estrutura de mercados, restaurantes e metro. Cafe da manhã bom com geleias feitas na ‘casa’. O horário de checkin não correspondeu a informação no site de que era as 12:00. Mesmo sendo as 14:00, foram gentis em entender o desencontro de informações e liberaram a acomodação com simpatia e cordialidade. Também, nos deram otimas dicas de passeios. Recomendamos.

Super maison d'hotes

Le personnel est chaleureux et accueillant. Il est aux petits soins pour nous et n'est pas avare de conseils et de recommandations. Il n'y a rien à dire sur la propreté et le petit déjeuner est copieux, bon et vaut largement le prix demandé. La cuisine et le matériel est à disposition si on a envie de se faire un café ou un thé. Le seul bémol est la chambre située côté route qui est un peu bruyante. Je recommande chaudement cet établissement qui est en plus proche des lieux a visiter.
