"It was a clean and comfortable hotel. The room has a kitchenette in it which is nice for cooking meals. There is also a balcony with a nice view of the ocean. The TV is very small, they only provide two small hand towels and no soap or shampoo so bring your own. Overall, it's a great value for the price. I would stay there again if you're looking for something cheap, clean and close to the beach."

"This place felt more like home to me I cannot wait to come back. I loved it so much. The hosts were amazing. Even the old lady at the coffee shop who directed me was amazing. I felt so relaxed I wish it was a longer vacation. The view of my room was breathtaking. The easy access to restaurants, shops and the beach was the best part. "We really enjoyed the stay that was truly a calming one. It was exactly as per the pictures, clean and with a great view from our room! Staff were also friendly and kind, despite a slight language barrier as we did not speak much korean. There are cafes and eateries in walking distance too. "This is my third visit to Gangneung, and I always choose to stay at this hotel. It offers a calm ocean view at a reasonable price. The owners are friendly and always ensure the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped—perfect for all types of travellers. There’s also a convenience store right below the hotel, making it easy to grab breakfast or a late-night snack anytime.

"Whatever you expect, you will find more. I found the entire stay very "calming." Attention to detail was amazing, from the little pots and cups to the shower and bathtub. The host and hostess were super welcoming. We liked this area far more than the Yangleedan gil (양리단길). We will definitely return."

"We got the condol room with the 5 floor mattresses, pillows and blankets and they were really comfortable. Hotel location is right there on Hajodae beach. There's a cafe on the bottom floor with really good breakfast and coffee and BHC chicken is across the street also a CU convenient store. Cheap price and great location especially for family. Down the road from surfyy beach. "

"Very nicely decorated hotel. Only thing is they do not provide basic utensil (e.g., tea spoons) and charge rental for that. Although there is a kitchen, basically you can't use the kitchen as it has nothing (e.g., knife, scissor). There is also not a lot of food around, we ended up buying instant meal from the 24/7 convenient store. Tips: bring your own food/utensil if you plan to stay here."
