"Had two nights here, staff really friendly and helpful, room was good and beds were comfy, had a nice meal there. Only downside was the room was above the bar area so a little noisy and room 1 bathroom adjoined ours no 2, it was like they were in the room with us , singing in the bath and some poor person being sick "

"What a lovely place and very wonderful view. Breakfast was amazing and the hospitality is overwhelming. We were a family of four from London and the room was spacious and comfortable. "The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens"
