Several guests got 55 tickets. Hosts were sorry but really did not take responsibility. Also mattress was too soft. And beware no air conditioning.”

“The house was clean and comfortable in a nice neighborhood with a lovely patio area. The hosts were very responsive. I cooked dinner at the house and was disappointed that the kitchen was not stocked with the basics such as a can opener and measuring spoons. We also had to go buy dishwasher detergent and initially weren’t provided enough towels for our registered guests to each have one. They were all small things but together made it a little challenging.”

Culver City fits the bill and feels like a small town, but it's still fairly easy to get to all the things in LA (with a car, duh). The place is in a quiet, safe, neighborhood, parking on the street is easy, and being able to walk to restaurants and shops is a plus. The Jackson Market a couple of blocks away is awesome for coffee and sandwiches and the back courtyard is gorgeous.”
