Car Rental Aeroporto

After you've visited all of the well-known sights in Aeroporto, there's loads more to see in the surrounding region. Pick up the keys to a rental car, stow your bags in the trunk and get going. Here are some drives we know you'll enjoy:

• You'll find Cabecudas Beach and loads of other intriguing sights in Itajai. From Aeroporto, it's roughly 100 miles away.
• Your next pit stop? Make it Joinville, which is around 55 miles away. Expoville Park is one local draw card you really shouldn't miss.
• Get into the outdoors and take in the serenity at Mole Beach. It's 150 miles from Aeroporto.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Brazil, then you may need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. You should also be aware that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be at least 25 in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
