After you've visited all of the fabulous attractions in Eindhoven City Center, there's more to see in the surrounding area. Collect the keys to a rental car, toss your luggage in the trunk and get going. We've come up with some road trips we think you'll love:

• Rotterdam is 55 miles from Eindhoven City Center. Popular sights like Erasmus Bridge deserve to be high on your must-see list here.
• Situated 70 miles away, Amsterdam is also popular with travelers. Allow time to check out Van Gogh Museum while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love staying a while in this vibrant city.
• Visit Lauwersmeer National Park for a day out in nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just recharge your batteries in the fresh air. From Eindhoven City Center, it's approximately 140 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Netherlands, then it's likely you'll need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. Please also consider that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll be asked to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. A few other things to note for international car rentals are:
