Car Rental Beiguan District

There's so much to do in Beiguan District, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Pick up a set of wheels and you can roam around the surrounding region at your own pace. Add these awesome places to your travel schedule:

• You'll find Shaolin Monastery and countless other interesting attractions in Zhengzhou. From Beiguan District, it's 110 miles away.
• Your next stop? Consider Jiaozuo, which is around 90 miles away. Yuntaishan Ovary Lake Dam is one local highlight you really shouldn't miss.
• Mount Tai is 150 miles from Beiguan District and is one of the region's most spectacular nature spots. Go for a walk around and enjoy the fresh air here.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in China, then it's likely you'll need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll be asked to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. A few other things to note for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be at least 25 in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before getting behind the wheel. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on off-road areas with your rental car.
