Shukongjiaya District offers adventures galore, but don't limit yourself to only one place. Rent some wheels and take to the road to see what else awaits in the surrounding region. Here are a few ideas:

• Head to Linxia for a fun-filled sightseeing adventure. Roughly 55 miles from Shukongjiaya District, it has loads of inspiring attractions like Liujiaxia Dinosaurs National Geologic Park of Gansu.
• Next stop? Baiyin, which is around 40 miles away. Tiemu Mountain is one local highlight you really shouldn't miss.
• Head to Jiuzhai Valley National Park to reconnect with nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just relax and unwind. From Shukongjiaya District, it's 200 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in China, then it's likely you'll need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some additional requirements for international car rentals are:
