Car Rental Taiping District

After you've been to all of the terrific attractions in Taiping District, there's more to discover in the surrounding area. Pick up the keys to a rental car, toss your bags in the trunk and get out on the open road. We've pulled together some road trips we're confident you'll enjoy:

• You'll find Mukden Palace and lots more intriguing sights in Shenyang. From Taiping District, it's 90 miles away.
• About 70 miles away, Jinzhou is also popular with wanderers. Make time to get to Jinzhou City Museum while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love coming to this thriving city.
• Get out into nature and inhale the fresh air at Bishu Shanzhuang. You'll find it roughly 210 miles from Taiping District.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in China, then you might need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. Also consider that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll have to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. A few other things to note for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most places to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before sliding behind the wheel. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with your rental car.
