Car Rental District XII

There's heaps to do in District XII, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can explore the surrounding area at your own speed. Add these fantastic drives to your travel schedule:

• Head to Győr for an excellent sightseeing experience. Approximately 65 miles from District XII, it has loads of amazing sights like Audi Arena.
• Approximately 95 miles away, Miskolc is also popular with travelers. Make sure you check out Cave Bath while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love visiting this buzzing city.
• Head to Zemplén Kalandpark to reconnect with nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just recharge your batteries in the fresh air. From District XII, it's around 140 miles away.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Hungary, then it's likely you'll need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. You should also be aware that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some other requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be at least 25 in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before you drive off the lot. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or go off-roading with a rental car.
