Car Rental Heping

Heping has plenty to keep you on the move, but don't restrict yourself to just the one place. Rent some wheels and head off to see what's in the surrounding area. Here are a few ideas:

• Keelung is approximately 70 miles from Heping. Notable tourist attractions like Keelung Night Market should be at the top of your list here.
• Your next pit stop? Hsinchu, which is around 40 miles away. Hsinchu City God Temple is one local draw card you won't want to miss.
• Venture into the outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at Kenting National Park. You'll find it approximately 160 miles from Heping.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Taiwan, then you might need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. Also consider that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the rules and regulations before you drive off the lot. Usually, you can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental vehicle.
