Car Rental Santa Fé

Once you've covered all the fabulous places in Santa Fé, there's loads more to explore in the surrounding region. Collect the keys to a rental car, toss your bags in the trunk and hit the road. We've pulled together some road trips we know you'll enjoy:

• Head to Santa Maria for a fun-filled sightseeing experience. Around 120 miles from Santa Fé, it has numerous amazing attractions, including Royal Plaza Shopping.
• Roughly 95 miles away, São Borja is also popular with travelers. Make time to take in Joao Goulart Museum while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love this city.
• Spend time in nature and breathe in some fresh air at Itaipu Dam. It's approximately 190 miles from Santa Fé.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Brazil, then you might need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. You should also be aware that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other requirements to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to what kinds of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before sliding behind the wheel. Usually, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental vehicle.
