Car Rental Tropical

After you've been to all of the amazing sights in Tropical, there's a lot more to explore in the region. Pick up the keys to a rental car, throw your luggage in the trunk and get out on the open road. We've pulled together some drives we're confident you'll love:

• Make tracks to Belo Horizonte for a fantastic sightseeing experience. Around 45 miles from Tropical, it has tons of amazing attractions, including Mineirão Stadium.
• Located 75 miles away, Ouro Preto is also a favorite with travelers. Allow time to take in Tiradentes Square while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love this city.
• Make your way to Amantikir Park for a day out in nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just sit and unwind. From Tropical, it's around 200 miles away.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Brazil, then it's likely you'll need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. Also consider that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to what kinds of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the fine print before you drive off the lot. Usually, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on off-road areas with a rental vehicle.
