We recently stayed at the Matrix Hotel for two nights and, unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was because we were told that covered parking would not be an issue. When we arrived, there were no covered parking spots available, and finding any parking at all was extremely difficult. The only parking we could find was uncovered and not monitored, which was frustrating considering what we had been told before our stay. We also discovered that the complimentary Wi-Fi was essentially unusable for our needs. None of our devices would connect properly, leaving us with no choice but to pay an additional $12.95 per day for the premium Wi-Fi just to use our laptop and access the internet. The room itself was much smaller than expected, and the bathroom's sliding door offered virtually no privacy. What was most disappointing, however, was the level of service we received throughout our stay. Shortly after checking in, we called the front desk requesting extra towels and a blanket. We were told they would be brought up, but nothing ever arrived. The next morning, we asked again for more towels, face cloths, and a blanket. We eventually received two towels and two face cloths, but were told the blanket would be sent up shortly. Once again, it never arrived.
