"Natural setting was amazing next to Rio Dulce. We arrived when it was dark so they sent someone to meet us the Litegua bus terminal and bring via boat to the hotel reception. The cabin was a little dated, but was comfortable and AC worked great. My wife and I loved our stay."

"Abundance of tropical plants, saw parakeets flying around (instead of being in gage), heard monkeys, etc. Their website should say clearly, you can Not reach this property by land, Instead by boat only. "

"This is a great location for visiting the castle and right by the water. It has a restaurant and pool and a boat dock. It offers parking as well. If you are not about going up stairs make sure to request the first floor at time of booking due to the fact that most of these hotels do not have elevators. Rooms are small and compact, shower is a good size, and parking is included and guarded."

"Rooms could be nicer"

"It was a VERY VERY VERY complicated check in. At the hotel they didn’t know about the reservation and they weren’t expecting us. When I show the person in charge my online reservation and receipt they got mad and tell me they don’t work with Expedia any more because it was hard to get their payment back. They tell me we have to leave or pay cash in that very moment. It was a GREAT disappointment and they insisted we have to leave and that the hotel didn’t work associated with Expedia any more. At the end I was able to talk with the owner and they let us stay. For my husband and I traveling with out 3 grand children was a TERRIBLE situation. I hope you are able to talk with Casa Azul and fix your problems so it won’t happen to anyone again."
