"This is a great spot to stay! It was clean and closeto the downtown. We walked almost everywhere."

"We arrived at the proprty and walked up to the porch to ring the doorbell. The property was overrun with dead plants and was very un kempt. The steps were hard to negotiate for my wife and I. There were pots of dead plants on every step. There was a cat tower next to the front door, and there was feces smeared on it right at eye level. On the one side of the porch was some kind of pet house with heat lamps in front of it, possibly for feral cats? On the other side of the porch were 3 chairs, which were dirty and one chair had cat feces on it. We knew the owners have a cat, which was not an issue for us. When the owner arrived, he let us in the front door, we immediately decided not to stay. The house looked dirty, nothing like the pictures on the website. There was an overwhelming smell of cat in the house. We talked to the owner about the condition of the porch, yard, and the house, and told him it looked nothing like the pictures. He understood our concerns, and explained he had been unable to work on the house do to recent medical issues. We dealt with Expedia customer service, and were able to receive a full refund. We feel that the property was totally mis-represented, either intentionally or not. We were very disappointed to have to find other lodging. We think someone from either Vrbo or Expedia should go out to inspect the property before it is listed. The owner was very nice about everything, and we wish him nothing but the best."

" This was an awesome place to stay! Kathy was the hostess with the mostest — there was nothing she didn’t think of from toiletries to snacks to towels. Plenty of dishes or glassware at your fingertips. I definitely want to come back for a longer stay."

"The wall above the bed was torn up and had a lot of plaster falling off. A very large bug, looked to be a mud dauber, flew on me while on the bed. No refrigerator in the room. The carpeting was torn near the wall. There looked to be a gap in the brick wall near the window. Men were working on a new deck (2nd floor) with impact drill drivers before 7am. There was no staff, upon arrival our paperwork was sitting on the desk along with two others, not sealed with room number, name and code to get in the door. Breakfast was basically non existent. We will not stay there again!"

From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared.The house itself is full of charm and character, yet incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen truly had everything you could possibly need—whether you’re making a quick breakfast or a full dinner, it’s all there. We also really appreciated the abundance of towels and all the little touches that made our stay feel easy and relaxed.One of the highlights was the sweet resident kitty, who added such a cozy and unique touch to the experience!Communication with the hosts was excellent—they were responsive, helpful, and made sure all of our questions were answered quickly. The check-in process was seamless, and the app was very easy to use, which made arrival stress-free.Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we would absolutely come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and well-managed getaway!"
