All the staff members were very courteous, personable, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to interact with. Our room was spacious, and sparkling clean, and elegantly appointed. Our room (with a king bed) even came two full bathrooms. Also, the complimentary breakfast was very nice. The offerings were more than satisfactory to make a complete breakfast. Lastly, its location is within walking distance of The Vatican, The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and other notable sites, as well as many quaint streets and alleyways lined with wonderful eateries and shops. Will definitely stay here again on next trip to Rome.

Augustana House has earned an A rating!! It is an extremely comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean accommodation with a very convenient location to all the sights in Rome. The Augustana House is THE place to stay!! A delicious breakfast is served cheerfully each morning, with an interesting array of foods and sweets. The staff is exceptional in kindness and caring for their guests. They arranged transportation and attended to all our needs while we were in Rome. Rosa, Myya, and Silvana are exceptional hosts who go “beyond the call of duty” to attend to their guests needs and wants. What a truly lovely place to stay when in Rome!

I have never left a review of a hotel but our stay here was so wonderful, I just had to. We stayed there this past weekend. Rosa was there when we checked in. She was so kind and extremely helpful with all our questions. The room and bathroom were very modern and extremely clean. It was in a perfect location, walking distance to many major tourist spots. The young woman who was there the next morning at the front desk was also very nice and made sure we had everything we needed at breakfast. We fell in love with Rome and decided we would stay here again if we came back.

Lovely spot overlooking the River Tiber with a first floor balony. The location is very central and within easy walking distance to the historic centre and also to the Vatican. The staff were extremely helpful and considerate. The room was immaculate and cleanly presented. Breakfast was included and was generous enough to keep us going on our walks in the morning in the city. The only slight negative would be that there is a very busy road between the hotel and the river, however the room was quite because there is a metal roller shutter and two sets of balcony doors that shuts off all of the traffic noise. We are very happy to have found this place and would book it again in the future.

The hotel was small and modern and we overall we enjoyed out stay. Howeoveor, If you have mobility issues, this hotel will be a challenge as there are numerous steps to enter the facility and to go down to the breakfast room. No elevator that we observed. Breakfast was at 7:30 am which wasn't convenient for us as our tours started at 8:00 am and then our taxi for the airport picked us up at that time as most interational flights lealve in the morning. You can ask for an early breakfast, but it is given grudgingly.

The hotel is very well located being only 10-15 min walk from most of the major sights. The room, despite facing the main road, was super quiet thanks to triple glazing and bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was also good. In terms of improvements, there is no lift that we could see, so so going downstairs for breakfast could be tricky for those with limited mobility. In addition, the 3pm check-in is a bit late in this day and age, especially as they were fairly strict about the 11am check-out. Overall, however, the hotel was great and we would stay there again.
