"Small hostel in a great location. The owners are super nice and booked our canyoneering tour for us, and rented us snorkels for our whole stay. The room was nice enough, no frills but good for what we needed. The shared bathroom was not great though, and could do with some attention. The sliding front door was also very stiff and awkward to use, which was a bit annoying. "Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. "Staff members were all friendly and made me feel welcomed during my entire stay. Water was available to refill your bottles. I really enjoyed having snorkelling gear available for use in the hotel. To me, if pedal bikes were available, then it would have been even better for me since the hotel is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main town but I would rate my stay 5/5 regardless. Last thing is that the breakfast buffer included was more than adequate for me."
