"We only got breakfast on the first day because we asked for it. On the second day nobody was available at all, not even at the reception. We had to go out and pick up more cash to be able to have breakfast somewhere else."

"The room was confortable and clean with a nice balcony overlooking the forest. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful to keep you going all day. The hotel sits high on a hill with parking and an easy walk down to the center of town. Copan Ruins are just a few minutes away, flag a Tuctuc to take you."

"Hacienda La Esperanza is an absolute gem! The rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable, the breakfasts are wonderful, and the kindness and helpfulness of the hosts, Roger, Suyapa and Dani, unbeatable. We had a problem with our car in the middle of nowhere at night in the poring rain. Roger arranged for someone to go rescue us and tow and fix the car the following day. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay here and highly recommend it."

"Yall! This is the ONLY place to stay with a family! Private and Lux. It was perfect in every way! Air conditioning, 2 pools and room for everyone. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. The host was incredible and so so so so kind. He was always just a call/txt away. We even got stuck here dureing a strike that shut down the only road in and out and Don Paco went out of his way to help us coordinate an alternative route and find a way out. The kindness is appreciated beyond words. Thanks for the...

"We were a group of 9, and the dorm rooms worked out great. I liked the way the showers and toilets were situated. Each one private. With a nice area where you could do laundry and wash your hands. The restaurant and sitting room next door were nice. The view from the eating area was beautiful view of the mountains overlooking the canyon."

"The hotel is great. The air conditioning made it very easy to sleep. The room was large and very clean. I liked the layout of the bathroom. The grounds are beautiful. Parked on the street. The staff were helpful and very friendly. My room did not have shampoo nor conditioner but I had my own, so it was not a concern--just something to be aware of when you are packing. Due to a very early departure, we did not get to enjoy the breakfast. Based upon the excellent service and beautifully maintained rooms and grounds--I am sure the breakfast was good."
"The hacienda was spectacular, reminiscing of something out of a movie. They have plenty of beds for a large group such as ours. There are plenty of bathrooms so you don't need to rush as someone may be waiting to use it. Our hostess, Dani, speaks perfect English and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were handled. They have air conditioned private rooms that sleeps 2 and 3 for the older members of the group. The 12 bunk beds on the second floor of the main building is ideal for the young adults of the group. They can congregate and be as loud as they want as late as they want. There is a large TV so the group can bond over a movie or review photos and videos of the trip. The hacienda is a short walk to town and the ruins. You can also take tuktuks to the local attractions such as zip lining and the macaw sanctuary. They can also help get tickets to the hot springs at Luna Jaguar. Breakfast is provided and they will have it available at the time you want. We had to leave early on the last day, and they made sure breakfast was ready. They even had to go boxes for those in our group who tend to be late getting ready. Wi-Fi is strong in the main building. We will be returning on future trips."
"The staff at front desk was awful, one woman was the one there but I don’t remember the name, she didn’t want to help us in the accommodation of 9 people, she charged us $166 per room, even though one person stayed alone. The hotel is beautiful but the rooms were not clean at all. The bar the personal great, the food and drinks were ok."
"Beautiful boutique hotel with just six rooms, about two blocks from the Central Park - Very comfortable rooms with a great breakfast overlooking the garden, and they were very accommodating regarding dietary restrictions. The hotel is very well appointed and the staff are very efficient and friendly. They have a secure parking lot across the street. The hotel was very peaceful and they have a security guard at night. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone that is visiting Copan Ruinas!"
"Wonderful staff! Pastora is a great cook and housekeeper always helpful and there to serve everyone with a smile! Gracias doña Blanca for a wonderful hospitality!"
