“We had a great time staying at Gecko's lodge. Tine and Rene were very welcoming and made our stay really enjoyable. We loved the treehouse and the open air concept that gave us a really neat experience in the rainforest setting. We were able to see monkeys, sloths, frogs, birds and many other animals all in their natural habitat, right from the deck of the house and walking through the garden. “Ernesto and his wife tatiana were great to deal with, they communicated well, and he was here to greet us upon arrival. The total property Is so great, it’s like a small boutique hotel… There are three separate houses, with a communal area that has two swimming pools, an outdoor kitchen and multiple seating areas. We stayed in the two bedroom house, The showers are huge with lots of hot water, and the beds are so very comfortable ! Please note that it is over 2 miles outside of the little town,……

One thing to note there is no games room or yoga deck but we didn’t mind as we had more space than we knew what to do with. The pool was wonderful in the evenings and my teenagers enjoyed during the day! We always felt safe and we walked several days! We became friends with Martha the lady who cleans! She was precious and made sure we had towels for the pool and bath!”
