"It is set out as a Luxury apartment but can't really qualify as such. It is nice, but quite noisy as it is right next to a restaurant with live music. Also quite smelly from all the restaurants' grey water just flowing into the lake outside the windows. The bathroom is also very damp with mold on the walls. Everything else was good though, and the hosts were very responsive."

"Nice property located very close to the pier and the shore. If you’re a light sleeper, this may not be the best location to stay. We were given earplugs on arrival but we didn’t need them, we were able to sleep well with the music. Internet was ok, most of the time unstable signal. We ended going to nearby restaurants with Starlink to complete some work. Our room was clean, nicely decorated, spacious and with beautiful views of the lake. "The apartment was cozy and we loved the views of Xela. The water was warm and pressure was good. It was easy to walk to plenty of places. Would stay again."

"Overall extremely poor. Construction littered the property, loud bangs and tools served as an alarm clock at 6am until the afternoon. Check in took long as the Vrbo listing address takes you very far from where the house actually is and communication proved to be difficult as well. Also lack of direction with garbage leading to a strong odor"

"Highly recommend this hotel. It is right on the water a little on the outskirts, but easy walk to boat taxis and the town. The hotel was clean and the staff was excellent. The room was awesome, I was in #8 which is at the very top with a great view of the lake. They have kayaks to use which I did early one morning to catch a sunrise. Breakfast was handmade every morning and was delicious - no menu, they just brought me a plate with coffee. They hosted a birthday party one evening which was a bit loud, but it was cool to experience a local fiesta."
"High quality of the hotel , staff well trained, all are very kind . Clean , comfort rooms !
Very well satisfied with the hotel in Quetzaltenango!!!!’"
"I truly loved my stay here. It exceeded my expectations. The amenities were amazing, from the complimentary breakfast to direct lake access with included kayaks. Being able to bring my pet along made it even better!
The staff were wonderful, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay.
The property itself is stunning. Perfect for spending time outdoors, connecting with nature, and taking in the peaceful views. The free breakfast was traditional, fresh, and absolutely delicious.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again!"
"I have never been to a hotel with staff this wonderful. The views are idealic. The restaurant on site was excellent and a good value. We felt at home very quickly. The hotel only has 10 total rooms. We were able to chop it up and meet other guests. A+. Staff always cheerful and helpful!
I only have one complaint that is the same at every other hotel I have stayed at around Lake Atitlan. That complaint is the dogs! They are barking all night and here is a disco which can get rather loud. The hotel actually has ear plugs laid out for guests when they checkin. "
