"Great location within the old city and close to all amenities and train station. The property had lots of character. Nice and quiet. Courtyard very pleasant and an added bonus. Lots of space and clean and functional. The one negative point is a very steep staircase and not easy to get up and down particularly with suitcase. Also could do with a more comfortable sofa Had a lovely holiday and Lucca is beautiful. Will be back"

"My friend and I had a nice stay at OROROSA Lucca City Center Apartment but I am happy we were only 2 of us as 4 or 6 people in there would not have been comfortable. Please also note the apartment was advertised with 2 bathrooms - that is not true - the apartment has got 2 toilets but not 2 bathrooms - there is only one shower. For 2 people it was nice and spacious with a living area, kitchen and toilet downstairs and a double bed, 2 single beds and a bathroom upstairs. The location was perfect...

"A family-friendly place to stay: The "double quadruple" room had 4 twin beds, two of which were licated in a kind of loft; the room was supplied with kids' games and toys. Fabulous breakfast. The receptionist was extremely helpful in finding information and making recommendations for us during a train strike that (pardon the pun) derailed our plans. The location, between the old city walls and the train station, was convenient and surprisingly quiet. Things were pretty basic in the room. Decor was haphazard and the closet space pretty tight. No iron or ironing board. Teeny shower. But we were not there for the amenities, and the staff was terrific. "
