We checked we left after 15 minutes. Several prostitutes were stay at the hotel. My daughter feared holes in the walls were cameras. It was an interesting experience.

Nice new facility, staff is courteous. The WiFi speed is not strong enough to actually stream on the TV. Parking is not free and is pricy.

Brand new and in a hot spot for dining and bars. Hard to find good hotels in Marin county and this was such a pleasant surprise. The gym is wonderful too I would have stayed in there all day if I had the time.

The first room had helicoper landing sound like from the roof top. They replaced with more quieter room but looking for quiet room was an effort and issue. Breakfast is just a unedible. Very cheap ingridients breakfasst for the price of good restaurant. Parking is too small for the capacity. Nice building but it has many broken AC features on the floors. Unhealthy humming noises on 4th floor by elevator.

The hotel is very modern and the room was spacious, clean, and had a nice view of the mountains. However, when booking through Expedia I was charged the nightly room rate and a room deposit. When I checked into the hotel, I was charged a second time for the room, and again for the room deposit. It has been a nightmare trying to get this billing issue resolved. Being charged $655 for a one night stay is ridiculous. I probably wouldn't stay again due to this issue.

Staff were friendly and the hotel was convenient. The only challenge was the limited parking. You may not find a space, even if you want to pay for parking. Metered parking and surrounding lots won't let you prepay so you have to go at 8am to pay for the day. (parking is free overnight).

I paid for my two night stay through Expedia before arriving. When I checked in I was asked to pay an incidental fee on my card for $100. The transaction for $100 went through. I got my key and while in the elevator heading up to my room I get a notification that the front desk had charged the card I used for the incidental fee for the entire two night stay. This was done in its own transaction and not linked to the $100 incidental fee. I immediately go to the desk. They said it was an accident and the charge was reversed. Guess what? I still have nearly $500 pending out of my bank account that I can’t use because of this. My bank told me it would take up to 30 business days for the money to go back into my account. I’m so pissed! That’s a lot of money! It ruined my entire stay. I was so angry the whole time bc I needed that $500 while I was there. The worst!

Modern, clean hotel with staff that is trying to be very attentive and helpful. Sometimes going a bit overboard. Quiet, with plenty of spaces to hang out or work, and pretty nice fitness center. Enough parking and easy to walk around for dining etc.

The service was great. I wish they would have explained that the breakfast was $18/person. It looked like a basic continental breakfast spread. I was also disappointed about the roof top bar being closed but I understand the reason for closing it due to the weather.

Nice but noisy! Could not sleep.
The Roon looks nice, clean and modern. But this is my second time staying here and it is was noisy hotel because you can hear your neighbors above waking. So If they wake up at 3 am to go to the restroom you will hear it, if someone is in the hallway talking, opening their door, you will hear everything. The hotel is made of cardboard- the room have all hard surfaces which look good but then there is no insulation to help the noise, no rugs, nothing in the walls to help contain the noise- the side table next the bed is locked in place and it is uncomfortably far from the bed- Basic interior design mistake. The air conditioner does not get cold enough the vent is by the door… the air does not get to the room. Love the rooftop bar and the service is good. I wish it was not noisy because San Rafael needs a good hotel.

Way too many issues for a 4star hotel where we paid a premium rate: - Overhead shower that constantly drips cold water on to you. - No duvet cover - just two sheets that were constantly getting tangled. My wife woke up repeatedly every night. - They have a rooftop bar, so the parking lot got completely filled, making hotel guests have to park on the street. Had to wake up very early to move my car, as not to get a ticket. - Problems with the gate for the garage. We got stuck in the garage and resolving it made us late to a memorial service. Nobody bothered asking how our stay was, so I wasn’t able to discuss at checkout. I wished we had saved some money and stayed at the Embassy Suites in town.

While some items, such as the flat sheets vs duvet - are part of the brand standards from Marriott, others, such as not asking how your stay was, are clearly missed opportunities for our team on site to provide you with the stay experience that you both expected, and deserved. Our parking gate system is just recently activated this past week, and our hope is that it would aleviate some of the crowding caused by the Above Fifth bar and restaurant. Unfortunately we are experiencing some challenges with this system but the engineering team has been working closely with the vendor to resolve these. Our commitment is to take feedback such as yours, and use it to improve every week. Having only opened four weeks ago, we clearly have a long way to go, but sharing the feedback such as you provided here will help us to get to where we need to be. Thank you, sincerely, for taking the time to share with us.
