“We reserved a room at this location, however we were switched to ZenZaru same ownership. At KiKaru the grounds were not maintained and the pool was unusable/not clean. When we arrived at ZenZaru the location was very inconvenient. You had to go down approximately 100 steps to get to the rooms. There is no reception area, no rest area/lounge. “My friend and I stayed here on this gorgeous mountaintop gorgeous location for 4 nights. The owners, Lori & Bobby were fantastic hosts welcoming us as we arrived and made us feel at home. Once there we upgraded to the main house with the pool and ocean view. Well worth it! You must have 4 wheel drive! As you do for most places in Costa Rica. ;) Thank you for all your information and sharing all the beautiful birds and wildlife with us. ”

“Clean modern room, best shower in Costa Rica at this pricepoint. Fast wifi with excellent coverage. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. “They provided a room with the AC broken. They mvoed us to another location where you have to take stairs to get to your hotel. The room we initially received was dark and dirty. The second room was more spacious compared to the first room we received. It is also an self service hotel.”

“Beautiful property, nice pool, air conditioning, access to fridge and kitchen. The wifi signal was very weak, tiny bathroom too small to get dressed in was a problem staying with three people. The hotel listing doesn't match the actual hotel. The hotel is located down a long rocky dirt road. It's a 15 or 20 minute walk to get food in the heat unless you have a car or take an uber. It would be nice to have access to food closer but mainly as a traveler without phone service in Costa Rica I needed...
