"Silvia and Ferdinando were excellent hosts. Silvia oriented us to the area and checked on tours. The property is a large garden with pool and outdoor kitchen for guests. The town is small and low key. You can walk to either beach entry. We ordered dinner at our host's Italian restaurant. Ferdinando cooked: it was wonderful. Three great courses. We were off season for whales so will try to come back to Dolce Uvita"

"This was a very unique property for us. It's part hostel part hotel. Our room was small but was fine. The staff was super nice and gave a tour of the property. We enjoyed the bar and the pool and we were within walking distance of a fabulous dining spot. "

"Most of the rooms were in a motel style block with no real view, but there are two balcony rooms overlooking the swimming pool, garden and hills which are the best. A fridge was supplied, along with crockery and utensils, a pod coffee machine and use of a shared kitchen. All rooms small with no hanging or storage space. "Our villa was located at the front of the property and there is 24/7 noisy heaven truck traffic on the road not twenty yards away. Also the signs on the main road are tiny and easy to miss. Jose, the manager, was wonderfully accomodating and made up for any other deficits with his helpfulness."
