The staff were very helpful and amazing with the tour/location instructions! Maybe because it was my mom’s birthday on the last day, we got to use their karaoke room for free on our last night. We loved the food and the room. Although one downside is that the hot water in the lavatory doesn’t work. We didn’t bother to ask the staff instead we used the faucet in the shower room. Overall, it was a great experience!

Beautiful and Quiet Hotel in the Middle of Utoro
Hotel was accommodating when we stayed two nights, but had to book the nights separately. We were given the same room. One of the best bathrooms in all our Japanese hotel stays. Great many amenities, but they were labeled misleadingly in English, such as cleaner for makeup remover. Outdoor onsen on the top floor was great for enjoying the sunset. Breakfast and dinner buffets were standard Japanese fare. Not many vegetable choices and replenishing takes some time. Dining room isn’t very big, so plan your show-up time. Very close to Utoro bus terminal, tour boats, and all the eating places. There are 3 convenience stores nearby. Good place to stay when visiting Shiretoko 5 Lakes,

Location of hotel is very good, it is just walking distance to many restaurants and sightseeing area including the departing point for bear watching cruise. Hotel is a little old and dated. Food provided is normal standard.

The hotel was great for our stay. It was clean, updated and tidy, and the onsen on the 7th floor was so wonderfully upkept and gorgeous. It was a perfect stay for us before our visit to Shiretoko Park.

The dinner food quality is terrible. Seem like they put bunch of leftover together. Will not pay for food there again. WiFi is not great, on and off. The room was spacious though.

Skeletal staff that got the work done. Amazing chaps! Room was clean and comfortable. Food was ordinary with a few pleasant surprises at each meal. Public bath was not crowded due to low season. Walking distance to cruise operators and a short drive to the park.

Heart of Utoro
Centrally and conveniently located. Near the National Park, cruise operators and also the few local attractions and harbour. Nice indoor and outdoor onsens with sauna. Friendly and professional staff. Nice and substantial spread for breakfast and dinner. Room was also sizeable with view of harbour. Enjoyed my stay there with my family.

Hotel OK although a bit dated. Staff very rude.
I booked a sea view room online but confirmation came back with 'run-of-house' which I didn't pay attention to. During the check-in, the staff who attended to us couldn't speak English and struggled to service us. A lady staff came over, gave him a disgusted look and wasn't friendly to us either. When we asked about seaview, she said "You paid very cheap, cannot have seaview, go check with your booking company". Full stop.

A medium size hotel with quality. Excellent location (2 minute walk to cruise pier), clean and good size room, good onsen. We were there on a Friday night. The buffet dinner was delicious with wide spread of food. But be early because some of the dishes would not be refilled. .

Insufficient staff on the hotel, they need to serve as waiter while dinner time. So, no staff on cunter and no security can be maintained. The food is below average for a dinner buffet, only few food can be chosen.

Neat, clean and pleasant hotel . Convenient location and near places of attractions and eating places. The room layout was good with separate WC, bathroom and washing basin . The buffet breakfast spread was quite good. However, the rooms given to us do no have view of the sea.

Best stay with ocean view and clean air
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is well located and our ocean facing twin room was spacious and comfortable. Nothing like waking up to calls of sea gulls every morning. The water pressure was fantastic but the best part was that it is a smoke-free hotel so we enjoyed fresh clean air within every part of the hotel!

It's in a great location at the junction to the Shiretoko pass. Near to Shiretoko nature centre, Frepe Falls, Shiretoko 5 lakes, Oshin-Koshin Falls etc. Right beside main coastal road and the sea is fabulous. Carpark is limited though. Meals are non-buffet but wonderfully nice. Beside Seico-mart, convenient.

Hotel is comfortable. This is the only hotel with the air conditioning that we can adjust to what we want during our trip. It has a broad view to see the sunset and don't have the odor smell. I will certainly recommend this hotel to others.

My wonderful 1 night at Noble Hotel Utoro
Good English speaking staff. Good valet service. Night life is a bit tone down. The dinner buffet is really good. Love the onsen at the 7th floor and the sunset view.
