We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel has excellent amenities and the room was adequate and most importantly, the bed was comfortable. One issue for me was that it had no bath tub and no wand in the shower. Ladies really do appreciate a wand in the shower for obvious reasons that all ladies would understand. The pool area look amazing although we did not use it, but it certainly looked very nice. The only complaint we had was that the breakfast was expensive for what it was and it was not a good breakfast. If we stayed again we would pass on the breakfast although the restaurant was very nice to inside. The decor was good, but we asked for bacon and eggs over easy and got ham instead, which we did not want, and the eggs were very overcooked. The toasted bread was quite dry as well. It was not a particularly good breakfast at all, but other than this issue, I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Nothing wrong with it at all but maybe pass on the restaurant in the hotel. The service was good in the restaurant. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The breakfasts are excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. And the view of the river is serene.

I liked the added sitting area in my room. Breakfast had many options, good coffee!

It’s too damn cold in there!! They need to learn how to regulate the air conditioning. We were also staying two nites at the Dunes two weeks ago and it was horribly cold. Six of us froze during our stay. Speaking to others they all said the same thing…too cold! It’s summer.. we want to wear summer clothes in the summertime but it’s necessary to wear winter clothes. Not looking forward to going in there to freeze. People reading this…bringing your winter clothes.
