Star Gazing - Bon Fire Cabin in the Peaceful Country at Blue Eagle Retreat

Escape from it all, and disconnect from your stresses here at Blue Eagle Retreat. Peaceful, private, relaxing and just what you deserve! We offer nearly new, adorable, fully furnished and equipped cabin rentals (rent one or all) just bring your clothes, food and drinks. Great country location just 20 minutes from Waco and the Magnolia Silos. Tiny cabins suitable for a couple, but can sleep up to 4. $35 each per extra guest charge for guests 3 and 4. Relax on your cabin front porch while watching wildlife, or enjoy the entire acreage while exploring the wild side. Stargaze here and enjoy sitting around the bonfire (your personal bon fire, or a common area large bonfire pit). Spring is absolutely beautiful here with wild flowers, while summer brings great concerts and events to Waco (great biking trails at Cameron Park), Wonderful Fall events most every weekend to enjoy in and around Waco. Book early, as we book up quickly. 7 person Hot tub available and is shared with all cabin guests, but must observe quiet time after 9 pm to 8 am.

NO PETS/ANIMALS! Service dog Cannot be left alone in cabin. Owner/manager has right to close amenities for safety reasons.

Lovely stay close to Waco
Came to Waco for TAPPS state competition. will never stay in a chain hotel again. Wonderful communication with the host, close to everything we needed and less I35 - what more could you ask for? Will definitely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful stay! Cabins and lounging areas are very clean and comfortable! Kelly is very helpful with any of ur needs! The only thing is the property could use a new bbq grill? With the help of Kelly, I was able too surprise my girlfriend with an engagement ring! Everything went as planned, she said YES! Thank You, Kelly! Hope too see u next year, for our honeymoon! A lovely, cozy cabin and Keli was a great host. Everything was as described and Keli was very responsive in assisting me with the check in lockbox. And I loved the wine glasses and fresh fruit! Would recommend it for a relaxing get-away.

Very nice but no hot water in shower
I tried and tried to get hot water to come out of the shower. I adjusted the handle numerous times and could never get any to come out. while owner said I didn't do it right that is not true. I tried and had to take less than luke warm shower and it should not be that complicated to try to get hot water to come out. I was also told I could use the outdoor shower. I didn't pay to use an outdoor shower I paid to have privacy and use the indoor shower. Considering I paid an extra night that I did not stay the owner came out ahead. I know they did not have others who would have wanted the unit as only one other cabin was rented Friday night. I understand business and same day cancelations but how about service and recognizing you would have a repeat customer regularly. My son goes to Baylor and would have considered returning but have to reconsider now.

An Escape to the Country
This was such a nice place to enjoy some peace and quiet. No interstate traffic noise, low light pollution (lots of stars!), and wide open spaces, dotted with shade trees. It is not too far from Waco or Temple (about 25 minutes either direction). Perfect place to getaway without having to drive for hours!

The best stay!!!
Blue Eagle Retreat is the perfect getaway!! My husband and little one took a last minute trip for fathers day and we enjoyed every moment!! The cabins were so clean and and the little details like the chocolate bar was well thought out!! We loved the lay out of the cabin and how cozy it felt!! Kelli was kind enough to leave out a kiddo pool for our little one. What a wonderful thoughtful host!! I really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon! Thank you so much!!
