"I visit Springfield at least once a year, this is my second stay at the hartness house, I’ve stayed in the mansion and in the hotel, I have been very happy with both options. The mansion is stunning and enjoying a coffee and pastry in the mansion in the morning is lovely. I’m glad to see this historic building being taken care of so thoughtfully. "

"A refurbished old Vermont home with a beautiful view of the Connecticut river. The young couple who own the home were delightful and very attentive. It was comfortable and very unique. I would certainly stay here again."

"The owner was very attentive and helpful with all of our requests. He was truly thankful for us staying at the Inn. The Inn was nicely decorated and full of history which was shared throughout. The outside area was inviting with different seating options from couches to tables and chairs to Adirondack chairs under a tree and by the river. There was also a 2 seater swing. This is a historical building and we had to walk up about a dozen steps to our room, which may pose a problem for some. We will definitely be staying here again! I would highly recommend Lincoln Inn!"
Escape in Rural Vermont! 2 Homes SaunaPool, Hot Tub, Game House Mountain Views.
10/10 Excellent
"We had a fabulous multi-generational stay here this summer. The house is clean and beautiful and the kids, teens and adults had so many things to keep them entertained - the sauna, hot tub, pool and outdoor shower were fabulous. The game room with pool, ping pong, darts and foosball kept us all entertained throughout the week. The outdoor spaces were beautiful to sit and read or relax and enjoy the fresh Vermont air. We dined outside every day. We loved to visit Manchester for shops and restaurants. We even booked a private yoga session in the yard from Heart of the Village Yoga (highly recommend - it was serene!). Would stay here again! Suki was responsive and accommodating!"
"A wonderful little Inn with such a pleasant owner and just a great vibe there. Would absolutely recommend for a summer or winter stay. Can imagine it is beautiful in the winter. "
Holiday Inn Club Vacations Mount Ascutney Resort by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was very well taken care of except the pool building which was an awful first impression of the property since it is the first thing you see upon arrival. Rotten and decaying siding and what isn’t is In need of repainting. A sharp contrast to the rest of the buildings and grounds which were beautiful."
"Bed was more comfortable than home. Dinner at Richardson’s Grill was fantastic.
Breakfast buffet was mediocre.
Room was very nice but bathroom needed updating."
"The inn was marvelous. The inn keeper and her husband the maintenance man were charming and responsive to our needs and kept the place immaculate. The restaurant was dissapointing. Service was terrible, eggs were over cooked. Toast was slathered in butter (I think it was butter). No salt, pepper or any other condiments were on the table and the waitress was no where to be found so we ate the meal as it was getting cold. We did not go back the next day"
"People at the front desk were very nice; hotel was very clean. Ended up being further away than we thought, but well worth the extra time/drive. Would definitely stay here again. AC was cold as well- all around fantastic stay!! "
"This home is a fantastic gathering place, perfect for family time and making great memories! The home is very rustic and vintage which we all loved so much and the beach is just beautiful! Had everything needed for a comfortable stay, plenty of room and grounds are very nice. Washington is in the center of a lot of places to visit and things to do. We had so much fun and amazing quality time together, it was just truly awesome!"
