“Was a lovely place to stay, not too far from anything we wanted to do which was great. The host had kindly left milk, butter and eggs for us in the kitchen which we appreciated! The house was tidy and clean. My only comment would be that there were lots of cobwebs in the rooms but otherwise we had a lovely stay ”

“We spent 2 weeks in September, my husband and I and a further guest, who stayed for 10 days. We were very satisfied with the apartment, which was situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with a lovely view of the countryside from the lounge. Buxton was in walking distance (15 minutes). The apartment was nice and warm and the kitchen was well stocked, which included a generous deep freeze compartment. What we also liked was the fact that there was a space to park the car off road. We loved the Peak……

Didn't find out until che k in details came through that there was no parking on the street the house is on. House was dirty. Tried to use hoover, it was totally blocked and not usable, had a broom but no dustpan so couldn't even do any cleaning of floors while there.”

“Property was very nicely decorated with a cosy feel with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Location was great - nice and rural, but close to Tideswell and Monsel Head. “Nice quirky barn conversion and on a working farm if you like that sort of thing. Not well signposted and accessed by a farm track I wouldn't like to negotiate in winter.
