"We had a lovely stay in Samoens. The lodge room was perfect, clean with all amenities you need. The hotel has easy parking and is in walking distance to the town. Swimming pool and facilities all great. Would definitely come back. "

"The beautifully designed and furnished hotel still had a casual, welcoming feel. The owners live on site and are very polite and helpful, interested enough to feel engaged but not intrusive or nosy. The room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel and we appreciated the full-sized toiletries. The only negative thing I could say about the place is that there is a bit of road noise if you have the windows open. "

"The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

"Pretty design, clean, top notch hospitality. Very close to train station. There is a pharmacy right next to the establishment. Restaurants in the surrounding area are practically non existent in the evening."

"The location is very rural and quiet. The hotel rooms are fine however the bathrooms are dated. Our room and our friends room had hairs all over the bathroom floor and in the bath so it was not clean enough. We had booked the restaurant for dinner and it was not busy when we arrived. However it took about 1h 30 for our food to arrive. We ended up cancelling our starters because it all took so long. I pointed out that a couple next to us who arrived after our table were served all their courses...
