House is as listed. Loved the quiet area and outdoor seating areas to relax! Located near state parks and kayak rentals which is exactly what we were looking for! Would definitely stay here again!
This house is tucked into the woods and sits near a grand ravine. Stunning views and very peaceful. The house is well supplied and works great for a couple or a couple with kids. We were very pleased and hope to return again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very roomy, quiet and secluded. Everything was well stocked...kitchen, bath, games, books, and movies. It was also very close to state parks and other attractions. We look forward to the opportunity to stay again.

Treetops is the PERFECT cabin! Gorgeous views, cozy comfortable beds, huge deck, amazing screen porch, plus close to Turkey Run, Shades, and Raccoon Lake! Our hosts were so gracious and accommodating. We are already planning our next trip back!
Great cabin in the forest! Close to Turkey Run SP and Sugar Creek is within walking distance. There is a covered bridge at Sugar Creek as well. Highly recommend this cabin for a long weekend or a full week. The cabin is clean and in good shape and is equipped with all the essentials needed for your stay.
Stayed with my family of 4. We loved the property. The woods and ravine/creek were beautiful. The house was very well-stocked, great kitchen and nice grill. Lots of books, games, and puzzles too. Highly recommended.
We had a great time staying at The TreeTops. Beautiful home in wooded setting. Upper room grabbed by our teen and we slept in larger room. Loved the porch both indoor and outdoor. Grilled overlooking wooded drop off. Saw wildlife including a turkey. Excellent location only 15 minutes from Turkey Run Stste Psrk. Ate at wooden table in entry area and played games there as well. House well stocked. Would definitely rent again!
Such a beautiful and comfortable home with everything that you could need. Awesome nature- had raccoons cooing at my husband while he read by the fire pit, watched deer grazing upon the hill and saw more fireflies than I have seen in decades! Great location to Turkey Run, Shades and Sugar Creek. Would definitely return!
This home was the perfect, relaxing get-away from our work weeks. We had our two adults sons with us for the week and enjoyed the ability to hike, swim, fish, read, explore, and disc golf - all within 15 minutes drive (or a walk!) Loved the cabin feel without the cramped feeling of a cabin. Plenty of space to be together (the screened-in porch is fantastic!) We enjoyed the campfire, the hike down the valley and to Sugar Creek down the road. I can't say enough about this location. The birdwatching is awesome! A true gem!!
It was an amazing house. It was built on the side of the mountain with lots of windows facing the woods. It felt like a tree house. There was lots of space to hang out including patios.
The only downside was that it had well water. Even though the kitchen had treated water, the rest of the house did not.
But all-in-all, I would definitely go back.
We stayed here with our two dogs to visit family and found the house to be perfect, just as described. It's very charming and feels very remote with no neighbors visible. The decks and screened porch are fantastic places to just hang out and chat. The house is well equipped and comfortable. I did worry just a little about my elderly parents in the house because there are several steps of varying heights between different rooms and additions, but these are all well-marked and well-lit.
We loved everything about the treetop cabin. The pictures didn't do it justice. The views were perfect. It was quiet and secluded. But what I loved the most was how well stocked it was. The owners have thought of everything from a great toy collection, book collection, walking sticks and roasting sticks all the way down to sandwich bags. We have stayed in a lot of vrbos and pack extra trash bags, toilet paper, laundry and dish pods because the facilities usually only have bare bones items. Anna and Jared made it easy and comfortable. We also loved the close proximity to Jackson bridge and a beautiful swimming hole in sugar Creek. We visited twice a day! If you're considering a trip, do it!
The picture doesn't do this place justice. I have found those places are my favorite. The tree house re-enforced that belief. So much space. So many decks and a screen in porch to choose depending on needed personal space. The seclusion was amazing and the tress provided shade for all sitting areas. You can hear turkeys calling -- bulk, knock, bulk from far out in the forest. Very safe and secure with nothing near by. A short drive to Turkey Run State Park. Another amazing visit. We had a small issue with a blown fuse. A quick phone call and the owners called back reassuring us he would handle it. Because of the layout of the house, plus the safe railings around the decks and the screened in porch I would recommend this house to families with children over 4. There was a step up or down to get into different areas--that could be troublesome for pre steady walkers. With that said, because of the layout, little ones can sleep while grownups party without waking them up. This is a huge advantage for all children that need naps or early bed times. The kitchen is very well equipped. I don't think us 4 senior women needed a thing. Very, very clean.
Thanks to everyone
This was our first family vacation and it did not disappoint! There were lots of things to explore around the cabin grounds. We were not bothered by any neighbors or others staying nearby (as you would staying in a camp ground). Cabin was stuffy at first until we got some air circulating and then it was pleasant, and a nice retreat from the heat after hiking below through the trails. We were close to Turkey Run State Park and found other fun outings/shopping options in the nearby area. Our children loved the scenery and had lots of fun hiking, fishing and exploring the woods. My husband and I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of nature all around us. My only real concern was a few wasp/hornets nests on the outdoor deck and screened in patio had a hole so we really didn’t sit outside too much fearing we would be stung accidentally disturbing the nests. There were a couple storms that came through in the evening the first two nights we were there but thankfully the daytime cleared up and we were able to make to most of our time there. The power did go out a few times and that was a bit scary for the kids haha! We were happy that it was only lasted for a couple minutes!
I would like to revisit during a milder season possibly even closer to winter to experience the wood stoves (had no need for them with the heat). Over all I would recommend this cozy cabin, it has so many cute little details that we will forever remember!
First of all this cabin is beautiful and in the middle of old growth forest with ravines and a creek. The property is exceptional for dogs to explore. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is great for cooking. Everything was A
