“Our stay at Elounda Gulf Villas was absolutely excellent. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with warm, personalized service. The suite was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of the sea — the private pool was a true highlight!
Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh, local options. The location is perfect: peaceful and private, yet just a short drive from the center of Elounda and nearby beaches.

“We spent at Castello Village Resort one week in September. We have the best memories of our stay.
The hotel staff (receptionists, waiters, bartenders) were very nice and helpful.
Our room was clean, towels were changed daily.
Meals were delicious and plentiful. Of course you can find hotels with more food selection but for us variety of dishes and drinks was sufficient.
The hotel is located in a beautriful area in walking distance to small but charming Sissi port and nice beaches.

“Great Family vacation. The people at Kastro Beach Apartments are great. The rooms are basic but clean and the facility around it are great. Very close to the beach, with an available outdoor pool and very good food and drink varieties. The nightlife is also fantastic for the Family. "We had a great stay at Creta Maris Resort. The all inclusive setup makes it super relaxing – you don’t have to think about anything and can fully unwind.
Most staff were friendly and helpful, except for one or two at Enomy Restaurant whose English made communication tricky, and the luggage staff who seemed a bit indifferent.
Food-wise, I recommend booking the à la carte restaurants. Buffets offer variety but are average in quality. Enomy has more choices than Estia. We tried Alatsi – excellent service, amazing sea view, food slightly salty, but the crème brûlée was a highlight. Desserts overall are large and satisfying.
Pool bar snacks weren’t great, but drinks and cocktails were excellent – perfect for sunny poolside moments.
Our room had a partial sea view and the resort is beautiful, with lots of photo spots. There’s a private beach, plenty of pools, and activities you can book easily through their app.
I suggest staying at least 3 days. With 4 or 5 nights, you can also explore the town.
Overall, it’s not super luxury, but it’s a great fit for families and covers a wide range of needs. Recommended."
