"This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the setting fantastic. It’s in the middle of nowhere and so really really quiet. But several things did not support its four star status. There was no fridge in the room, only a cupboard where the fridge clearly should have been. There was no blanket available for the bed. The shower went from warm to scalding hot at random intervals. We chose to eat in the beautiful courtyard where there was a limited menu available, but from the limited menu, three items were not available, and the waiter could not produce a decent latte, even though I described it, very carefully, in fluent Spanish. Now for the good things: fabulous setting, very quiet, air-conditioning worked, the bed was extremely comfortable, the courtyard café was gorgeous, and had tasteful quiet music playing, and they had two Tesla destination chargers in the enclosed back courtyard, one of which I managed to use, (after having to reset it). "

"Stunning reception area and welcoming staff. Great to be able To use the wellbeing pool late early evening, as the sun goes down. Room was a decent size with an amazing walk-in shower. We had a burger to eat at the bar which was tasty, as was breakfast. Only stayed one night as we were moving on but loved this hotel. "

Only an hour’s drive from the city, it’s peaceful and scenic — perfect for unwinding. The rooms are spacious and comfy, with balconies and amazing sunset views. The whole place feels warm and welcoming, like a home away from home. Close by, there’s the charming town of Tarancón and the Segóbriga Archaeological Park with its impressive Roman theater — definitely worth a visit. The hotel’s restaurant serves tasty local food at good prices. In short, Ballestar isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a cozy spot you’ll want to come back to."

"La casa fue perfecta para nuestro grupo de 9 personas. Muy amplia y cómoda para disfrutar en el interior cuando hacía más frío y en el exterior en la piscina y zona de barbacoa. Enfrente hay un Carrefour express lo que hizo muy cómoda las compras. Estás en el pueblo pero parece que estás en mitad del monte. Totalmente recomendable. Muchas gracias!!!"

"Pros - Friendly and efficient staff, bed very comfortable, breakfast quite good, complementary wine at checkout. Cons - sensor over bed has annoying red leds which flash all night. Curtains difficult to open."
