"とにかく素晴らしいです！南朝時代の皇居として使用された堀家の母家に隣接する離れに泊まれるのですから。内部は綺麗にリノベーションされてますし、とても快適です。離れの横、母家の横には川が流れてますので、そのせせらぎや、カジカガエルの声が聞こえてきて、とても情緒があります。泊まった日は、はからずも満月でしたので、広々としたお風呂に入り、その窓から月と川を眺めておりました。心の底から癒されるひと時でした。お風呂は家族で入れる大きさなので、ゆったりできます。ホテルの周りには人がいませんので、夜になると川の音しかしません。庭に出て自然の音に包まれながら、満月を愛でつつお酒を飲む最高の時間。魂の洗濯が出来た気がしました。また、当主の堀様も品のある素敵な方で、さすが代々続いてこられたお家柄だと感動しました。歴史好きな方は是非、またそうでない方でも、きっと満足出来るホテルだと思います。今回は食事無しでしたので、それだけが心残りですね。次回は是非、食事もしてみたいと思いました。ありがとうございました！"

"建物の設備や清潔さなどは､特に大きな問題はなく 歩いて行ける距離にコンビニがあり､夜にお腹が空いたりしても大丈夫です笑 ですが､今回は7人で予約したはずが歯ブラシやタオル等は2人分しかよういされておらす､人数分の準備をし忘れていたと途中で管理人の方が今からでも設置させてほしいと訪ねて来られました。 問題や残念な点などで言うとそのくらいで､ それが今回限りのミスであるならばその他に特に問題はないと思います。"

"This was our favourite hotel in Japan. The room was most spacious, with two full sized beds and one full sized futon on the floor. The hotel is absolutely spotless. "Right next to train station. Had coin-operated laundry that was very easy to use and had English translations. We didn't have enough coins but were able to go to the front desk to exchange our smaller coins for the needed 100 yen. There was a restaurant and bar downstairs which seemed nice, but we did not have time to visit. The room was bigger than we expected and had a nice view. Able to connect to our Netflix account. Staff very friendly and helpful. We extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much."
