"Cute cabine which had all one needs and more. The neighborhood is quiet. Check-in is seamless. The host is very responsive and helpful. The location is perfect for short trips to hiking areas nearby. "

"Our family - 2 adults, 2 young kids - had a great stay shortly before Halloween. A good amount of rain during our stay, but the rental was a cozy place to take in the storm. A spacious layout meant things didn't feel too cramped despite our mostly being indoors. Big windows out to the Sound through which to take in the rain and the wildlife - ducks, a pelican, sea otters (!?) - that came and went with the tide. Each day's lowest tide revealed oysters galore in the beach in front of the house. Also, great communicating with the host in the buildup to the trip. We'll be back again!"

"Unbelievably beautiful property. Stocked with everything you could possibly think of. Pristine, perfectly maintained house that is spacious inside and out. "Beautiful Waterfront Setting with air conditioning, comfortable beds and good kitchen items; hosts were very responsive. Kyaks and paddle boards a plus."

"This was a last minute choice when our other house fell thru at the last minute, but it turned out to be great! The house is spacious and comfortable with high end furnishings and appliances. The view and sunsets were spectacular, from inside and outside on the lovely covered deck. The water is warm enough to swim comfortably because it is shallow and the tide comes in over hot rocks and shells which warm it up. Make sure to bring water shoes/sandals because the beach is all sharp rocks and shells. Only downsides were that the propane tank on the grill was completely empty so we had to go buy propane on the first day. Also the grill was filthy but when I let the owner know, she sent someone over to clean it immediately. I appreciated that. The available kayaks were also old and broken but she allowed us to use some others that were in better condition. There is a Safeway and a QFC close by, but not much in the way of restaurants. We made paella with local shellfish!"

"Loved it!! Excellent Hood Canal location. Waterfront view is truly unobstructed!! Lots of large windows!! Even in the bedroom!! Plenty of onsite amenities. We did enjoy picking shellfish at low tide every night for dinner. "
