"We stayed at Prominence near the start of spring. During this time, many shops, restaurants, and cafés were either closed for the season, closed early, or had limited seating. Many bar-style eateries were also not very welcoming to families with children. In hindsight, it might have been better to stay in the Happo-One area, as it was the only ski resort still open for the remainder of the spring season. "Excellent location for skiing. Property is very nice and exactly what I wanted. Modern bed rooms, bathrooms, lounge room with plenty of space. We could ski back to the house and it's a two minute walk to the slopes. Night skiing is right there. It's on a large property on the side of the mountain with a creek. The kitchen is a bit old and funky but we cooked meals each day without any problem and it is well stocked with dishes and pans. You need a hire car as it is off the beaten track. Also...
