The staff at Hotel Abuelo is superlative. We speak no Spanish, so every day the owner, Philippe, would call travel agencies to set up tours for us. He walked with us to the pick up location and waited with us until the van arrived. He even helped us purchase our bus tickets to Trujillo. In a town where no one speaks English, Phillipe is invaluable. Also, The coffee at was the best we had in our 21 data in Perú. Also appreciated was the endless hot water. We stayed for 4 days and always had hot...

Owners and staff makes you feel like at home, very attentive. Access is a little hard due to the road and not all drivers are familiar with the hotel, however the view is priceless
