"Never encountered a human being but all went well with checkout. Room was clean and quiet. Shower was old and had black(mold?) in the caulking. The sink faucet was dripping a lot… "

"Had to find a night’s accommodation in Leon before an early train. The Colonial Palce was 10 minutes walk from the station, took my bags at 10am and put them in my room when available, checked me in then and when I got back at 7pm couldn’t be more helpful. I have poor Spanish but Eva had excellent English and was very clear about how to get out of the hotel early the next morning. This is a boutique hotel, with anbout 12 big rooms, and deserves that title. The room was very comfortable, the shower fabulous, the bed massive and the TV and hair dryer were high end. Sadly I had to leave before breakfast. All in all a whirlwind, but exceptionally pleasurable, stay. I would certainly come back. "
