“This retreat hotel is close to the airport. Argostoli is about 20 mins drive. Room was spacious with a small kitchen. Access to beach is a short 2 min drive from hotel. Staff was attentive and gave us useful travel tips and driving directions. Restaurant menu offered limited choices but we were able to pre-order seafood dishes in advance and the hotel chef then ordered from the local fish market. We noticed water to contain sediment not sure if because of water filtering or water salt issues. ”

“On day three of the stay workmen were working with heavy equipment from 08.00 on the flat roof directly above our apartment, waking us and also using the terrace outside the room which was supposed to be for our personal use. This was planned works and we should have been told about it and offered an alternative. “We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Emerald Villas and Suites. Irene was so friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful with the most incredible views!! Within a short 5 minutes drive to the port where we enjoyed dinner and a small beach. Highly recommend!!”

“Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The kitchen has everything you need, except they don’t provide washing up liquid and sponge. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for dinner or a drink. The local tavernas do takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking but want to eat at the apartment. The swimming pool area is lovely and relaxing, no fight for sunbeds and plenty of……

“If you're looking at Domus Alta, don't hesitate, just book it! Just returned from 10 days here and for the price we paid we were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our stay here. From super quick check-in to when we left we could not fault our apartment and the lovely owner, Angella, made sure every detail was perfect for us. Large room with kitchenet which included table top stove, fridge, sink, all cutlery etc. Bathroom was spotless, rooms were cleaned everyday with new towels/sheets……

“Excellent location only 30 yards to the beach, extremely quite, but plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. We only left the beach road on one occasion when friends drove us to a Jaz night. Great shower with plenty of hot water for both of us, and a very comfortable bed. Liked the little veranda which we sat on every night enjoying several night caps. The only small criticism is that not much wardrobe space for a two week space, and would have loved a fridge/frezzer.”
